We came up with the “Keep Calm” trend as the main theme and Black and White as the Colour scheme. A Dance space was created in the lounge with a pink LED bar as the focal point. The Party Marquees were attached to the house and included lit “Martini” glass tables and white couches. The Garage was lit with fairy light backdrops and blacked out walls.

“Keep Calm and Party” Keep Calm and Carry On” “Keep Calm and Eat Sweets” were some of the signage created. A fabulous Black and White Glamour Candy Buffet stole the Show!!!

As we begin 2013 we have already had our first Wedding Marquees in January which included a Ceremony Marquee as well as the Main Marquee. This highlights how increasingly Marquees are being considered for Events all year round.

With “The Gathering” Tourism Initiative playing an important  role in attracting overseas tourists we are delighted to already having a number of Events booked for 2013.

Marquee Hire

A Marquee Hire designed with love, laughter and a real sense of style!! When being around a Couple who are so much in love just makes you smile is how best to describe the planning stages of this Wedding Marquee.

The Couple involved would be the first to admit that they were a little laid back when it came to putting this Wedding Marquee Hire together and yet the thoughtfulness for their guests and their desire to have a Wedding that truly represented them as a Couple and happy family unit.

On viewing past designs from previous Weddings the Bride kept going back to a particular look and this was eventually the concept that we used as the starting point.

Next was added the drinks reception area which we had as an all clear marquee and a clear walkway down to the main Marquee hire.

The toilets were a system that were enclosed onto the main marquee with an area for both men’s and ladies as a cloakroom. We even as a bit of fun put in a large mirror into the ladies that had been commissioned by the singer Prince for when he was on tour in Ireland.

A crisp and sunny April morning gave way to a fabulous warm afternoon and guests mingled in the drinks marquee whilst the brilliant “Bentley Boys” provided a Jazz band to add to the joyous atmosphere. The Marquee was where we first showcased our new crystal chandeliers and they really were the feature of the Marquee Hire.

Glass in the gable end allowed natural light and then in the evening it highlighted the trees lit in greens and magentas.

This French Vintage Marquee Hire Dublin was a collaboration between Pavilion Marquees and the Groom’s mother as the Couple were both based in the US. The brief was to create an elegant French Vintage Marquee Hire with the emphasis on embracing the fabulous gardens and for the interior to be classical colours of whites and ivory.

After several sessions discussing Marquees and moodboards using Pinterest we set up a mock table in Dublin. A rectangular table with muted gold crushed linens we made a wooden “plank” for the centre length of the table that gave a focus to the floral displays.

A covered walkway with Ivory Tack off linings and dressed legs led the guests into a real party atmosphere where we had created a Clear Roof Marquee and along with the Mother of the Groom we choose furniture from the house to give an eclectic Lounge feel to the Vintage Marquee Hire. Then guests entered the mood enhancing, classically elegant main marquee.

When it came to the restrooms we were given the go-ahead to come up with something “fun”. So we designed a “Gentleman’s Club” with the theme of Dogs!! Black suede walls and starcloth were the background and we framed fabulous Dog Silhouette wallpaper with dog printed cushions. The ladies marquee toilets was all about Pink and Butterflies!! The restroom was handmade pink linings with a  fairylight backdrop and then the linings were covered in butterflies.

The challenge for this particular Vintage Marquee in Dublin was to live up the Vision that the Client had as they knew exactly what type of look they wanted to achieve. After the Wedding Pavilion Marquees received a  lovely message…

From the beauty that is the island of Inishbeg to all the romantic little touches that Noelle put into making their Wedding Day so Special and memorable. As a Galway Marquee Company, Pavilion Marquees Galway were proud to have been involved in the recent “Paint it Pink” Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in Clarinbridge for the NBCRI Ireland.

A host of Volunteers from the  local Galway businesses and people who wanted to make a difference planned a fun filled weekend. A mass to remember people who were effected by the disease and also to pray for women who are coping with Breast Cancer was held on Friday. Beautiful floral arrangements and candles were provided by Branch Flowers in Galway.

On Saturday, Pavilion Marquees Galway erected a clear roof pagoda at Clarinbridge GAA Club for which we made pink linings. This Marquee was used for presentations and speeches over the 2 days.

The evening Event was “Pink Cocktail Hour” in Sherry’s Bar Clarinbridge…Pavilion totally transformed the room to include fairy light backdrops and pink decor and furnishings. Event Bars and Total Event gave their support to help dress the room.

The whole Event was a Community Initiative about awareness of a disease that effects so many women in Ireland and their families. Pavilion Marquees Galway were delighted to have been in involved.

Who said that we don’t get those balmy Californian style Wedding Days here in Ireland!!! For weeks before when we were planning this Ceremony Marquee we joked with the Bride about  a “soft day” in Ireland. Well for once the Irish weather didn’t disappoint and the absolutely beautiful warm sunny weekend couldn’t have happened to a nicer Couple!

The Bride had a vision of how she wanted  the Marquee to look for their Ceremony. It always helps when the location is fabulous – and that is just one of the many words that can be used to describe the wonderful Luttrellstown Castle.

From the drive through the grounds to the spectacular interiors the Castle really is a magical setting. The “Beckhams” put the Castle on the map for Weddings and perhaps like many we thought that it would be a “price on application”. However we were certainly surprised( and delighted) with the very competitive packages on offer and would definitely place it  on the “wishlist” for discerning Couples. It does have a key benefit for Weddings with guests coming from overseas that it is so near to Dublin airport and also has a wealth of local hotels nearby for accommodation. For the Wedding Ceremony Marquee Pavilion Marquees created a Marquee and walkways that worked with the location.

The brief was to have a covered walkway for the all important entrance by the Bride with the guests having walked on the candle lit walkway from the Castle and into the Ceremony Marquee with a comfortable seating arrangement.

The weather during the week made us wary of leaving the Marquee opened so we came up with a “wet weather plan” whereby we sealed the Ceremony Marquee and then returned on the morning of the Wedding and due to the lovely sunny day we were delighted to be able to take off the sides and to dress the legs of the Marquee.

The meticulous lawns have a feature of a sundial and in the evening we lit the sundial in magentas and greens for the guests to view from the Castle.

Marquee Hire

This Wedding Marquee Hire in Dublin was created with white as the pre-dominant colour. Bespoke hand made grecian swags by the Pavilion Marquee Hire Team gave a truly unique and luxurious finish.

Wanderers Rugby Club in Ballsbridge, Dublin was turned into a Wedding Marquee Hire Venue for this Couple and it worked really well both as a great location near the centre of the city and also for car parking etc.

Pavilion received a brief that included the main colours that the Bride was incorporating into her Wedding which was purples and pinks. The Marquee Hire that was designed included battery operated paper lanterns in these colours which gave a lovely summery feel to the Wedding Marquee. The flowers were the “statement” of this Wedding and they worked perfectly in the Marquee setting.

A pagoda entrance led into the main Marquee which had one long wall of glass. From double doors in the glass wall you  walked out on a decked area with lounge furniture, and white picket fencing. This area proved very popular both for the drinks reception and also for later in the evening.

Inside the Marquee there was an emphasis on white with the chiavari chairs, full drop linens and white Marquee linings.

For most of the planning of this Wedding Pavilion Marquees dealt with the Bride’s aunt Collette O’Leary whose attention to detail was fantastic….so good in fact that shortly after this Wedding Collette decided to take up Wedding Planning as a career and is now one of Ireland’s Leading planners. Paper Lanterns were the main design concept for this Wedding Marquee. The Bride first contacted us with some images of Venues with lanterns and so we began designing this Wedding.

After visiting the House and the beautiful location we quickly started to form a concept of this Wedding Marquee . It needed to be elegant, have a feeling of light and space. Initially we were planning a Marquee with a separate lounge area however we eventually settled on a  Marquee that had glass on one side to take in the river and the trees.

The Couple planned the drinks reception in the House with a very elegant traditional style conservatory and this was dressed with paper lanterns. Then the guests were ushered down and through a  covered walkway into the Marquee.

The feature piece of this Paper Lanterns Wedding Marquee was a large white dance floor with over 30 lanterns of different sizes in whites, creams and ivory placed over the area. This took the Team some time to create as the way in which the lanterns were positioned was very important in achieving the desired effect.

Gold crushed linens and vintage style gold chairs  complemented the look. The toilets were enclosed in a  Marquee so that guests did not have to go outside  and a Vanity space was created outside the toilet unit.

The evening included outdoor lighting and fairy lights for the walkway. A Paper Lanterns Wedding Marquee that was romantic and beautiful.

When the sun shines in Kerry it is possibly the most stunning County in Ireland. This Wedding Marquee Hire took place on Valentia Island and the Couple were truly blessed with the day. The Marquee was located at a fantastic location with views from the solid wall of glass that are “picture post card”. The Groom was our main point of contact  and the  concept was for a Wedding Marquee Hire that took in the aspects of the location and that guests enjoyed a relatively informal Reception with attention to detail by the Bride with lanterns and Country style flowers. The clear Marquee Hire was positioned at the gable end and this gave a focus for the drinks reception. An oyster bar was outside the Marquee and also a Barista bar. Joyous,romantic and good fun was the order of the Day.
